However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the brigands.

Description: He is an average looking western male in his early mid-life. He wears dull black sweaters, loose green pants, and alligator leather shoes. Beneath his sweater he keeps a concealed flail, just in case. His auburn hair is matted, messy, and big. He is missing an eye and his face is severely sunburned. His one remaining eye shines hazel.

Personality: Eccentric and domineering, Hugh will drive conversation. He has no love for corruption and racketeering and views those as crimes of the highest magnitude.

History: He comes from a rich western family. In his 18th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He now mingles about in high society.

Description: A 5'8" northern man, he wears an old set of leather armor, nicked and torn by the ravages of time and battle. He wears his hair in dreadlocks. Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.

Personality: He considers himself the perfect gentleman. He makes a point to always show proper etiquette and frequently critiques the etiquette of others. A true patriot, Richard would do anything for his country. He is fiercely protective of his fellow citizens and foreign allies.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and he doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes

Personality: He is quiet and reserved most of the time, but warms up to people very quickly. Around friends he is liable to tell dirty jokes and enjoy himself. He is able to fit into much smaller and tighter spaces than normal.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. In his youth he was part of a gang. He got caught, but did not rat out his comrades and served his time in prison. He used his abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.

Motivation: He is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions; and he possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal
