Personality: Hugh wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Fighter, so he tries to act the part. He does a good job, for the most part... He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of dire rats may trigger it at times.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by dire rats. Hugh was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the dire rats.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and he desires to right it.

History: He was born on a small isolated farm. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Roger grew up listening to his mother's many stories. At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. Some 3 years later his spouse died after the birth of his son.
