History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Geoffrey was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. At a young age his mother died while driving off some illithids. His father being the stubborn sort decided to stay and helped train him in nunchaku use. Recently a tribe of illithids attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Geoffrey fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by illithids, and he desires to right it; and wants to open a new tavern

Personality: While he is on the job, he is grim and serious. He understands how dangerous the world is and the need to stay safe. He is able to make almost anything out of random pieces of junk.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. He was an apprentice working in his mother's forge. Recently he has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

Motivation: Wants to work out more often; and to be a tanner again

Description: 5'10" and muscular, this eastern man wears a shirt and pants that are bristling with pockets overflowing with maps, compasses, and other navigational equipment. He wears his chestnut hair up in a very large beehive style do. His ears are large.

Personality: He is a jovial happy person, but he is convinced people are living their lives too quickly. He is obsessed with finding treasure.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Motivation: Meet up once more with his childhood friend.

Description: A stocky lighter skinned man, he wears a white vest and prefers violet and tan shirts. His boots appear to have been at one point steel toed but are quite worn down. His hair is cut close to his head. His ears are large.

Personality: Quiet and reserved he prefers to listen than to talk. He will nod occasionally and communicate nonverbally. He loves being with his children and actually smiles when they are around. He would do anything for them. He dislikes his ex a great deal.

History: He was born in a small plains village. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Scribe. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

Motivation: To be a Mercenary again; and to reunite with his absent father

Description: His right side is far more bruised and cut up than his other. He wears grey robes with leather pauldrons. Though occasionally he wears more armor. He prefers to carry a monstrous two handed axe, but if one is not available he will default to his flail. His auburn hair is styled in orderly dreadlocks. He wears an eyepatch.

Personality: He is quite rude, and likes to deride his opponents skill and shout insults at them. He is skeptical of what others tell him and is slow to trust.

History: Nicholas lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. By chance he met his sister recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Sailor and was forced into it by his family; and find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister
