Description: This fat eastern man has a bulbous nose and wears a robe, a symbol of strength around his neck, and a glaive on his belt. His skin is also unnaturally pale. He has dyed his greying chestnut hair a little too much giving a sharp chestnut color. His eyes are amber and beady.

Personality: He has a massive crush on the younger sibling of the Spy who has hired him part-time. He works hard and plays hard.

History: His mother raised him in a mountain cabin. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the mountains to a summer home near a old dungeon. He would wander through that old dungeon and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the mountains due to the painful memories there. Adelard took refuge in the old dungeon and found the beat up glaive and armor he uses now. Recently a tribe of gnolls attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Adelard fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Personality: He considers himself a man of culture and sophistication. He likes a good challenge to his wits. He is ready at a moment's notice to give into his darker urges. He is a real pyromaniac and does not care who the fire hurts. He often ends up burning people alive in the fires he starts.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Beggar. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Motivation: He will attempt to ambush and attack anyone he thinks he can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. If successful, he will try to sell them to his slave-trader contact.
