He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

History: His mother raised him in a mountain cabin. A serious injury left his father unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm father. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Lewis grew up listening to his father's many stories. In his youth he was part of a gang. He got caught, but did not rat out his comrades and served his time in prison. He has dedicated himself to building a better village for his children.

Motivation: He feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help.
