History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Carpenter. He hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

Personality: He is highly sensitive about his name. He loathes it, but will not take any guff about it from anyone. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of brigands may trigger it at times.

History: Rolf was born the youngest of three triplets. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: He seems to be bored by most things; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions

History: Tim lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Cartwright and was forced into it by his family; and marry his sister to traveling adventurers
