Description: A middle-aged man, he wears clothing that is held on in multiple layers but all of it is in poor condition, and is pretty ugly. His blonde hair is lengthy and is close to two feet long. His eyes are blue.

Personality: He is not truly malevolent, but he is obsessed with music. He constantly tries to fill his life with music. He is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in his opinion.

History: Bertram lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Being born in the west, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. He has never given up on his music dream.

Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. A friendly and beautiful Human, he is rarely seen without a few beauties around his arms. Though a playboy in all rights, he is no lame duck.

History: Jocelyn was born the youngest of three triplets. He always admired necromantic-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Description: He is of a modest build and height, but he carries himself more imposing than he is. He wears a faded coat and loose pants complete with Stetson hat. His hair is chestnut and curly. His green eyes are desperate and heavily dilated. He has the appearance of someone under the heavy influence of drugs.

Personality: He runs his personal life as if detached from it. He organizes appointments and outings based on perceived benefits he will get from it. He is a very good compulsive liar and kleptomaniac.

History: He was born into a rich family. In his youth he was part of a gang. He got caught, but did not rat out his comrades and served his time in prison. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Chad fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: He is greedy; and he will attempt to ambush and attack anyone he thinks he can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. if successful, he will try to sell them to his slave-trader contact

Description: He wears professional attire. He sports a long blonde beard, and similarly colored long hair. His otherwise smooth face is marked with small tiny scars.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Cory embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. He loves teas. He is very sensitive about his face. To blow off anger he lifts weights and to control his otherwise explosive temper he works out a lot.

History: The child of northern immigrants he idolized his father. In his 18th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his father impaled in their home, and his mother beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: He acts crazy and hedonistic. He has a taste for the finer things and spends a great deal of money on luxuries, some more exotic than others.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. His first spouse was a Layabout, they had one son, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: An old rival family wants him found; and marry his brother to traveling adventurers
