History: Born in the south to a Masseuse, Adelard learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. Being born in the south, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

Motivation: He doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes; and regain custody of his daughter

Description: Wearing a closed helm and plate, one would not know what he was had he not made sure his armor was more form fitting than normal. Outside of the suit he is wearing a long, yellow, dusty cloak. His blonde hair is slicked back into a classic pompadour. His hazel eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.

Personality: Cocky and sure of himself, he believes he is the best Guard born in the past three hundred years. He also is a firm believer in the manly ideal.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. His parents enrolled him in a Fighter school at a young age so that he could practice his psionic talents. He became a Guard soon after.

Motivation: He made a deal with a demon which lead to his current lot in life, and he's becoming increasingly nervous about it; and to prove his worth to the world

Description: This western man is abnormally tall. He wears a shirt that is too small, which lets his gut show, with a ratty black coat over it. His whole body is exceptionally muscular. He has dyed his greying golden hair a little too much giving a sharp golden color. His thin eyebrows rest above his beady hazel eyes.

Personality: He does not believe in betrayal or weakness as things to be tolerated. When he's not drinking or sleeping the drinks off, he's doing singing.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. A few years later when the north was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: To end his boredom.

Personality: He believes mankind has become decadent and spoiled by the march of civilization and an end should come to life as we know it. He is a ruthless business man, a trait he acquired from his father.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his father and mother. His father taught him the rudiments of the Shepherd arts, while his mother instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Motivation: Money/treasure; and he is greedy

Description: A middle-aged man, he wears red leather gloves, a red jacket, and tight pants, and is pretty ugly. His head has been shaved. His fierce green eyes like to dwell on things.

Personality: He is shy and timid. He has not had much interaction with people and is skittish around them. Further he is a bit of a stoner and is frequently out of it.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. He found a children's book about a Human Fighter who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Motivation: He has passion for adventuring and risk.
