Personality: He does not believe in betrayal or weakness as things to be tolerated. His philosophy is that everyone needs a friend and as such shows hospitality towards all.

History: Bertram was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Wants to have a good time and be beloved; and he is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out

Description: He is an attractive man, lean and moderately muscular. He does not wear sleeves and tends to eschew shirts when he can avoid it. His hair is red and very short. His eyes are likewise green.

Personality: He shows great sympathy to all travelers. He's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. His brief stint in the army gave him the idea he was invincible and that he is the toughest man alive.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. While he appears to be a normal Human, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

His attire stands in sharp contrast to his shield, which is beautifully polished and possesses an ornate carving of a clover on it. He sports a flattop hair cut. He wears crescent spectacles with a black brim.

Personality: He is not truly malevolent, but he is obsessed with painting. He constantly tries to fill his life with painting. He has zero loyalty and will suck up to whomever is within range, in the hopes of being moved to a better position.

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. When the war came and ruined his parents he was left adrift. He was a hard man then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Motivation: He desires power and/or immortality; and he is terrified, and will act out of fear

His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: He was born on a small isolated farm. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.

Motivation: He is unsatisfied with his job; and he desires power and/or immortality

History: He was born at the edge of vast mountains. A serious injury left his father unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm father. He bought a sword and has really upped his game hunting, due to his understanding of decoy and ambush.

Motivation: A strong sense of loyalty to Human people; and he made a deal with a demon which lead to his current lot in life, and he's becoming increasingly nervous about it
