History: He was born into a rich family. His mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, William grew up listening to his father's many stories. Through the years after William was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west.
