Since his father passed away years ago, his mother had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

His mother taught him the rudiments of the Bellfounder arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Human conditions. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

History: Chad lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Shoemaker. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
