Description: He is of a modest build and height, but he carries himself more imposing than he is. He is dressed in an above average manner. He wears his red hair up. He tend to wears goggles to shield his eyes.
Personality: He is intelligent and cunning, but he will too often allow his rage to get the better of him. He will lose his cool and rely on brute force to carry the day. The war was a terrible time for him, and Ralf does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.
History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. His homeland was ravaged by war and he spent much of his life rebuilding it. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.
Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC; and he loathes his own lifestyle

Description: The light-skinned man stands 5'10" and does not wear sleeves and tends to eschew shirts when he can avoid it. He is bald on top and has large white tufts of hair around his ears. He wears crescent spectacles with a black brim.
Personality: He barks his statements quickly and with little fuss. He prefers small words and is at his heart utilitarian. He can't help but pocket interesting objects he comes across
History: Born to a Adventurer, his father struggled to pay the bills. At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.
Motivation: He will attempt to ambush and attack anyone he thinks he can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. If successful, he will try to sell them to his slave-trader contact.

Description: He wears many layers of old clothing at all times. His chestnut hair has been sun bleached extensively. He has a dull look in his amber eyes.
Personality: He is happy with his job as a Barkeep. He turns his eye from what people do, preferring to live and let live. More though he will beg to come along on any journeys. He will attempt to stowaway on any ship he can in the hopes that it will get him further away.
History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the desert to a summer home near a old dungeon. He would wander through that old dungeon and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the desert due to the painful memories there. Miles took refuge in the old dungeon and found the beat up sickle and armor he uses now. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Barkeep.
Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Barkeep responsibilities is difficult.

Description: An older man who is generally shirtless and showing off his tattooed chest, he is not a threatening figure. He has done his best to style his red hair to look like a famous performer. He wears large thick round spectacles.
Personality: He is always cheerful, even with a hangover, and is always willing to go through all sorts of trouble to help his friends. He considers everything a fun event and doesn't hold grudges. He works hard and plays hard.
History: A powerful necromancer made him what he is. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. Recently a tribe of giants attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Conrad fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Layabout and was forced into it by his family; and find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister

Description: He likes to wear darkened spectacles and heavy clothing, no matter the weather. His red hair is cut short with large spiked bangs in the front. His face is full, his cheeks are rosy, and he always seems to sport a perfect smile and a twinkle in his blue eyes.
Personality: He hates gnolls. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. He is a bit of a macho man and will challenge people to random contests of strength and skill, and invite them to random hunting and fishing trip.
History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. His mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.
Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud.
