Personality: He is not truly malevolent, but he is obsessed with painting. He constantly tries to fill his life with painting. More though he will beg to come along on any journeys. He will attempt to stowaway on any ship he can in the hopes that it will get him further away.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. In his 14th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Motivation: He is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out; and he feels threatened by others

Personality: He loves telling others what to do and how they should feel about things. He is very protective of his business, his home, and his spouse. He is willing to work with less than legal methods but maintains the front of legitimacy.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. At a young age he wooed the heart of his future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. Recently he has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

Motivation: He feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help; and he has comitted a past crime that haunts him to this day

Description: He wears grey trousers with yellow and tan striped suspenders. He wears various colorful collared shirts. He is portly but not overly obese. His hair is long and black with streaks of golden, and is pulled back with small grey clips. His beard is golden, braided, and well cared for. He wears large thick round spectacles.

Personality: He has a good heart but also a terrible temper. He will forgive often but not before yelling and berating someone for whatever they have done wrong. The war was a terrible time for him, and Chad does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: Chad hails from a village terrorized by goblins. His parents were killed by goblins in a raid when he was still a young child. The goblins captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC; and he wants revenge against goblins

Description: This man wears a black vest and prefers tan and white shirts. His boots appear to have been at one point steel toed but are quite worn down. He has a penchant for wearing a ring with an oversized ruby on his left hand. His hair is greying and his face has many wrinkles. He has blue eyes.

Personality: He does not believe in betrayal or weakness as things to be tolerated. He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. A freak accident while working with his Dyer father left him crippled. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: He is greedy; and to share knowledge with the world

Description: He is a mite stocky and wears brown leather gloves, a brown jacket, and tight pants. He has dyed his greying chestnut hair a little too much giving a sharp chestnut color. This blue eyed easterner is not easily forgotten.

Personality: Everard is depressed about a lot of things. He tends to be a nihilist. Despite his manner, he is extremely passionate and proud of his job, and he prides himself in being thorough and never missing a detail.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Carter. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Carter for the past few years.

Motivation: Wants to have a good time and be beloved; and balancing his hectic life and new carter responsibilities is difficult
