Description: A middle-aged man, he prefers to wear brown clothing when he does not wear armor, and is pretty ugly. His chestnut hair is drawn into a tight pony tail with a clover scrunchie. He has several tiny ruby earrings on each ear.

Personality: Calm and collected, he is a well trained Bookbinder. He is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. His mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Map Maker. He hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

Description: This man is very fat, and does not wear sleeves and tends to eschew shirts when he can avoid it. He sports a long auburn beard, and similarly colored long hair. His eyes, though not visible through his cowl, are amber.

Personality: Aside from being a little slow due to sleep deprivation he is generally quite perceptive. He notices little details and can draw good conclusions from them. He does not believe in violence as a means to an end. He is a dedicated Mayor but believes his peers are too gung-ho.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep.

Description: His left side is far more bruised and cut up than his other. He is wearing the road beaten gear of a warrior. His hair, while still mostly white, has prominent grey streaks. His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: This man loves poetry and to teach people poetry more than just about anything. He will often invite strangers home for dinner and talk their ears off. He cares deeply for his spouse and does his best to make sure his guests look presentable.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a son. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and he is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally

Description: He is an attractive man, lean and moderately muscular. He wears just a black suit. His white hair is braided into rings. He wears crescent spectacles with a black brim.

Personality: He hates dire rats. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: He was born to a criminal king-pin and mafia family In his youth he was part of a gang. He got caught, but did not rat out his comrades and served his time in prison. He has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

Motivation: He will attempt to ambush and attack anyone he thinks he can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. If successful, he will try to sell them to his slave-trader contact; and many dire rats want him driven away

Description: He is a mite stocky and wears a blue top hat and blue clothes. He has dyed his greying chestnut hair a little too much giving a sharp chestnut color. He has a dull look in his amber eyes.

Personality: He does not believe in betrayal or weakness as things to be tolerated. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of gnolls may trigger it at times.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. He was a friend to animals and a trickster. In his defense of animals however he would do severe harm to people. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Motivation: Wants to work out more often; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by gnolls, and he desires to right it
