He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: He is soft-spoken, optimistic and speaks nonstop, as he rather likes the sound of his voice. His demeanor is somewhat feminine. He is kind towards other men and children and will generally offer men help without question. Others will generally need to prove themselves to him.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. Cursed with lycanthropy at a very young age, Bertram has worked very hard to control his curse. He now spends his time doing works of charity.
