History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Everard grew up listening to his mother's many stories. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. He now mingles about in high society.

Personality: Always inclined to offer people food he seems plenty friendly. He cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist he will grow angry at them.

He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

History: Nicholas lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Being born in the west, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.
