History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. Theodoric was a troubled youth. He spent his days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent his evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Theodoric decided he wanted neither the life of his father nor that of the evil petty criminals he associated with. During his early adolescence, he took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. He now mingles about in high society.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the east. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. Recently a tribe of brigands attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Simon fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and an old rival family wants him found

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. His father was a soldier and died while he was still young. Theodoric was left his father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He's also a talented Body Guard, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions
