History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. Gerald was born on a far northern plains where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Blacksmith. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. After a long history of fighting, Gerard and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and he is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs

History: He comes from a rich southern family. His parents enrolled him in a Fighter school at a young age so that he could practice his arcane talents. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. A freak accident while working with his Knight mother left him crippled. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Motivation: He is unsatisfied with his job; and balancing his hectic life and new jeweler responsibilities is difficult
