Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Bertram embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. He does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for him. He lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. He was taken from his home at a very young age. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes giants are coming to abduct people. He lacks restraint and is impulsive. He jumps in and acts without thinking all too often.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Spy. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Spy for the past few years.

History: He was born in the north, but his parents moved at a very young age to the west. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered painting. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Description: He tends to wear a blue poncho over his likewise colored trousers and shirt. He has a small bristly mustache and wavy silver hair. His brown eyes dart from person to person.

Personality: He is intelligent and cunning, but he will too often allow his rage to get the better of him. He will lose his cool and rely on brute force to carry the day. He is lazy and tries to find solutions quickly.

History: Born in the east to a Body Guard, Lance learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The mother sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his mother's willingness to do anything to win. Being a Body Guard kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud; and he feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help

History: He was raised in a plains tribe. He helped his father out around the business and became quite the natural. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

Motivation: Marry his brother to traveling adventurers; and his spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion
