Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Alex embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. He is ready at a moment's notice to give into his darker urges. He is a real pyromaniac and does not care who the fire hurts. He often ends up burning people alive in the fires he starts.

History: Alex was raised in a hard working conservative environment. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Alex grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Alex. He became a Mortician soon after.

Personality: A rambunctious noisy drunk he knows how to make people feel guilty. He is obsessed with finding treasure.

History: He was born into a rich family. In his youth he was part of a gang. He got caught, but did not rat out his comrades and served his time in prison. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.

Motivation: He is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions; and he has decided he is irredeemable

Personality: A deeply religious man he believes everything happens for a reason. When he's not drinking or sleeping the drinks off, he's doing poetry.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He would ruin relationships and cause injury. He was reprimanded several times before being given his current form and forced to learn humility.

Motivation: Seeks redemption; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions

Description: He wears a brown vest with golden trim over his white shirt. His green leather gloves and pants are well-kept, and his brown boots flare out at the collars. He carries with him a set of axes, each one with a topaz on the hilt. He only wears one on his belt and the other on his back. He has a silver handlebar mustache and slicked back silver hair. His skin is flawless and his gray eyes scan people very quickly.

Personality: He seems absolutely devoid of it. He stares off into space and will respond with overly literal and minimalist answers to questions. He moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep his interest for a month it is impressive.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the south. Since his father passed away years ago, his mother had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and to find somewhere to settle down

Description: This fat western man has a bulbous nose and is well dressed, but even with his fine clothing he looks run-down. His skin is also unnaturally pale. His hair is auburn and curly. His thin eyebrows rest above his beady green eyes.

Personality: He has a very dry and sarcastic sense of humor. He is not one for noise or eating so much, which is in direct contrast with his big mouthed big gutted partner. His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. He loves teas. He is very sensitive about his face. To blow off anger he lifts weights and to control his otherwise explosive temper he works out a lot.

History: Shane was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Fighter, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Fighter in service of a powerful lord somewhere. His martial abilities were realized during a raid on his village. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and he wants to meet his childhood hero
