Personality: Quiet and reserved he prefers to listen than to talk. He will nod occasionally and communicate nonverbally. He has a minor phobia of water and hates getting wet.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. In his 18th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his father impaled in their home, and his mother beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

History: Born to a Carpenter, his father struggled to pay the bills. After coming to the age of reason, Godfrey took it upon himself to study the martial arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: Quiet and reserved he prefers to listen than to talk. He will nod occasionally and communicate nonverbally. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He was granted arcane powers by his dying brother.

Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. He moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep his interest for a month it is impressive.

History: The child of eastern immigrants he idolized his mother. Through the years after John was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. John's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.
