He was preparing to flee to the south, but the outbreak of war prevented him and his mother from journeying south to reunite his family. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: Here is a man who knows he is the smartest in the room. He talks down to others constantly. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Alex is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. Alex was born on a far southern desert where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Weaver. He was granted divine powers by his dying brother.

Motivation: He feels the way he acts is they only way to get by in the world; and nothing but the best is good enough for him

Description: He is a physically imposing dark-skinned man. He wears tattered old clothes. He wears a wide-brimmed hat to cover his moderate length silver hair. His brown eyes have a joyful gleam in them most of the time.

Personality: Stoic and calm, he prefers to meditate than take action. To his fellows he is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Human activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Human doctor. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by giants. Bertram was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the giants.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by giants, and he desires to right it; and someone believes him a fraud

Personality: He seems absolutely devoid of it. He stares off into space and will respond with overly literal and minimalist answers to questions. His brief stint in the army gave him the idea he was invincible and that he is the toughest man alive.

History: He was born in the north, but his parents moved at a very young age to the west. He always admired druidic-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army.

Description: Wearing a closed helm and plate, one would not know what he was had he not made sure his armor was more form fitting than normal. Outside of the suit he wears a brown tunic with yellow highlights, and long brown pants that bunch up around his shoes. His white hair is thinning but still full. He was beautiful and young once, which still shows through his age, but it is a faded beauty.

Personality: Reynard is depressed about a lot of things. He tends to be a nihilist. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of goblins may trigger it at times.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when goblins swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by goblins, and he desires to right it
