Personality: Gunter is depressed about a lot of things. He tends to be a nihilist. Gunter enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.
History: The child of northern immigrants he idolized his father. Gunter was born on a far northern forest where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Cartwright. He left for the north, certain he would find work there.

Personality: Calm and collected, he is a well trained Map Maker. He works hard and plays hard.
History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Map Maker hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.
Motivation: Sabotage a competitor; and to be a stylist again

History: He was born in the south. Reynard was born on a far southern plains where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Dilettante. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Description: This exceptionally lanky man dresses well, wearing black shirts, loose pants, and blazers most of the time. His hair is greying and his face has many wrinkles. His hazel eyes dart from person to person to random spaces in the air.
Personality: He misses his glory days as an athlete. He does not mind his job, but it is boring in comparison. He is lazy and tries to find solutions quickly.
History: When he was but 5 years old his parents immigrated from the north. Trey liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.
Motivation: Wants to work out more often; and he feels kind of lost in life

Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes dire rats are coming to abduct people. He claims to be unscrupulous but at the end of the day he will do what he thinks is right.
History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.
Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and he desires to right it; and many dire rats want him driven away
