Personality: He is mildly Human supremacist, though he does not identify as such. He is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes him no end of embarrassment.

History: He is a Slaad in disguise. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. During his travels, Alex and his party rested in a cavern that was (unknown to them) infused with powerful dark magic. Upon awakening, Alex discovered the rest of his party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. Alex fled the cavern, stopping for breath at a small pool, and only then realizing his own horrible transformation.

Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by illithids, and he desires to right it.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. Like his mother and his sister before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Ploughman. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

He will often invite strangers home for dinner and talk their ears off. He cares deeply for his spouse and does his best to make sure his guests look presentable.

History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. His mother was a soldier and died while he was still young. Roland was left his mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.
