Conrad Gyula, Male Human [Permalink]
Personal [hide]
Description: A man of a pale complexion, he wears an old set of leather armor, nicked and torn by the ravages of time and battle. His hair is long and golden with streaks of white, and is pulled back with small red clips. His beard is white, braided, and well cared for. His eyes are green and he is always smoking a pipe.
Personality: Prone to second guessing himself, he comes off as nervous. He refers to his adoptive mother for almost all things he is unsure about, which are numerous. He is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.
History: Conrad was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Fighter, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Fighter in service of a powerful lord somewhere. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Knight hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.
