History: He comes from a rich western family. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a daughter. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. Through the years after Theobald was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Theobald's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.
