Personality: He snorts whenever he laughs or is feeling confident. He loves his children and doesn't want them to worry about him. He loves to share his painting with anyone who is interested.

History: Gerard was born with his mother's beautiful face. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Gerard grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Gerard. He has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Lance was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. A serious injury left his mother unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm mother. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to drow demanding more tribute than usual.

History: When he was but 4 years old his parents immigrated from the north. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He left for the north, certain he would find work there.

His blonde hair is braided into rings. His face is full, his cheeks are rosy, and he always seems to sport a perfect smile and a twinkle in his blue eyes.

Personality: He goes out his way to put a smile on everyone's face. There's no-one he won't accept into his heart. He is obsessed with finding treasure.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. Dustin liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. He has dedicated himself to building a better village for his children.
