So far, no-one knows but him.

Personality: Prone to second guessing himself, he comes off as nervous. He misses his home and complains about the freezing weather, even in summer.

History: Gerard hails from a village terrorized by gnolls. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by gnolls, and he desires to right it; and a deep hatred of gnolls

Personality: Manfred speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. He is clearly well-traveled and educated. A true patriot, Manfred would do anything for his country. He is fiercely protective of his fellow citizens and foreign allies.

History: Born in the east his family was never financially stable. At some point he was captured by illithids and was tortured. After several years of this he finally managed to escape. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: A deep hatred of illithids; and he wants revenge against illithids

Description: A pudgy man standing about 5'1" has a big stupid grin on his face most of the time. He tends to wear a heavy leather apron. Coupled with his rolled up shirt sleeves this gives him a very relaxed look. He has styled his silver hair well, parting it to the left. He wears a mask on his face.

Personality: He is calm most of the time but flees social interaction. He is susceptible to being scared and is in actuality easily frightened. He likes to tell stories.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. In his 19th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his father impaled in their home, and his mother beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He was granted necromantic powers by his dying sister.

Motivation: He is wracked by social anxiety; and to unite with his sister

Description: He stands about 6'1" and is wearing a long, white, dusty cloak. His right leg appears badly burned and disfigured. He has moderate length brown hair. He was beautiful and young once, which still shows through his age, but it is a faded beauty.

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of gnolls may trigger it at times.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the west. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Bather hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

Motivation: A deep hatred of gnolls.
