His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the island due to the painful memories there. Patrick took refuge in the ruined castle and found the beat up lance and armor he uses now. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by gnolls. Patrick was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the gnolls.

History: Frederick was raised in a hard working conservative environment. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Mortician for hire.

Motivation: To be a Marshal again; and he is unsatisfied with his job

Personality: He's a bit of a prankster. He knows he is clumsy and seen as such and will often feign amnesia after injury. He misses his home and complains about the freezing weather, even in summer.

History: His druidic talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. His father was a mechanic, and taught him how to fix just about anything. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep; and to be a performer again

Description: He is an exceptionally muscular looking eastern young adult. He wears a well pressed and immaculate suit (or dress). Beneath his clothing is a huge mess of scar tissue. His chestnut hair is lengthy and is close to two feet long. He wears an eyepatch.

Personality: He is always cheerful, even with a hangover, and is always willing to go through all sorts of trouble to help his friends. He considers everything a fun event and doesn't hold grudges. The war was a terrible time for him, and Jocelyn does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. When Jocelyn reached his early adolescence his Human father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: He was born in the east. He was an apprentice working in his mother's forge. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Engraver they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Detective, and he later adopted a second son.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by gnolls, and he desires to right it.
