History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the west. Shane liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. Recently a tribe of goblins attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. History: John was born in the west. At a young age he loved to build and create. Brilliant and gifted he never wanted to apply himself. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Personality: He considers himself the protector of his home. He feels this is his duty and calling. A fanatic, his devotion to his small selection of gods is unquestionable. He claims to be doing their will and will base all his actions on whether or not they would be pleasing to the gods.

History: He was born in the east, but his parents moved at a very young age to the west. A freak accident while working with his Detective mother left him crippled. He left for the east, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: Revenge; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and he desires to right it

Personality: He is envious of other's things. He hoards treasure, art, food, wine, and anything that he so desires. He is accommodating to his spouse and as such limits his hospitality. He is brave and levelheaded in the face of danger and has proven himself a capable leader.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his father and mother. His father taught him the rudiments of the Detective arts, while his mother instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. He was an apprentice working in his father's forge. He has set out to sabotage the competition.
