History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Justin was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He has never given up on his painting dream.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. A few years later when the north was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: A strong sense of loyalty to Human people; and human compassion

His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. A true patriot, Manfred would do anything for his country. History: He got into the Layabout business at a young age. He always admired arcane-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Layabout for hire.

History: Drogo was raised in a hard working conservative environment. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He's also a talented Sage, but doesn't like to broadcast it.
