Thomas Hadlee, Male Human [Permalink]
Personal [hide]
Description: A middle-aged man, he wears a worn and beaten armor, and is pretty ugly. He is bald on top and has large white tufts of hair around his ears. His blue eyes dart from person to person.
Personality: His voice, at times compared to that of a Nymph, lambasts those who consider themselves "civilized" with snide, belittling remarks; the subtle growl he speaks with growing louder in doing so, one can find it most pronounced, despite the otherwise natural purity of his tone. He is able to make almost anything out of random pieces of junk.
History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the west. He became part of the deadliest team of assassins in recent memory. A botched job caused the group to be disbanded. He used his abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.
Motivation: He possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal; and he is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions
Ideals: Gifted. Flaws: Ugly, Cynical. Bonds: Poor, Criminal record. Occupation: Farmer
Voice: Eastern European accent

Peter Rayden, Male Human [Permalink]
Personal [hide]
Description: An older man who dresses well, typically a more casual-formal manner, he is not a threatening figure. He keeps his long red hair kept up in a rat tail. His face possesses mild wrinkles. His smile is extraordinarily sincere though he does not smile often.
Personality: While he acts the brute, he is far gentler than he would appear. The war was a terrible time for him, and Peter does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.
History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Peter grew up listening to his mother's many stories. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.
Motivation: He desires power and/or immortality; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark
Ideals: Fighting. Flaws: Depressed. Bonds: Attractive, Military, Adventurer. Occupation: Ploughman
Voice: Sounds elderly

Thomas Brownrigg, Male Human [Permalink]
Personal [hide]
Description: He wears light armors faded through time and improper care. His attire stands in sharp contrast to his hand crossbow, which is beautifully polished and possesses an ornate carving of a card on it. His blonde hair is well kept and his bushy mustache is tapered upwards at the ends. He has a tattooed face.
Personality: He can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. He will do just about anything if he becomes convinced it is for someone's true love, of this he is easily convinced.
History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. After coming to the age of reason, Thomas took it upon himself to study the martial arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland. He was granted martial powers by his dying brother.
Motivation: He would like to get married and retire; and wants his loneliness to end
Ideals: Gifted, Logical. Flaws: Insane. Bonds: Has a crush. Occupation: Ruler

Bertram Gentry, Male Human [Permalink]
Personal [hide]
Description: A pudgy man standing about 6'1" has a big stupid grin on his face most of the time. He wears a violet tunic with black highlights, and long blue pants that bunch up around his shoes. His silver hair is cut short with large spiked bangs in the front. He is very pretty but has cold, dead eyes.
Personality: Bertram wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Fighter, so he tries to act the part. He does a good job, for the most part... To his fellows he is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.
History: He was born at the edge of vast mountains. His mother took him hunting and taught him how to get in the mind of other creatures. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.
Motivation: Retire the richest man in the west; and someone believes him a fraud
Ideals: Disciplined, Persistence, Entrepeneur. Bonds: Attractive, Enemies, Nature. Occupation: Dilettante

When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Fighter in service of a powerful lord somewhere.
