History: He got into the Gardener business at a young age. Gerard was born on a far western island where he grew up under the tutelage of his mother, an expert Gardener. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Gardener for hire.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his mother and father. His mother taught him the rudiments of the Mason arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. In his 16th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He was granted divine powers by his dying brother.
