History: He was born in a small plains village. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

History: Born in the south to a Roofer, Adelard learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. He always admired arcane-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He tends to his Roofer job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.
