Patrick was born on a far southern forest where he grew up under the tutelage of his mother, an expert Doctor. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Personality: He can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. He receives visions of the future at random moments

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his father and mother. His father taught him the rudiments of the Dilettante arts, while his mother instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. Since his father passed away years ago, his mother had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. Recently a tribe of brigands attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Charles fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. In his 18th year, his parents were killed by a gnolls raid, leaving Henry alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Many gnolls want him driven away; and several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge

Personality: He runs his personal life as if detached from it. He organizes appointments and outings based on perceived benefits he will get from it. He also is a firm believer in the manly ideal.

History: Manfred was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Fighter, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Fighter in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He found a children's book about a Human Fighter who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

History: Alex was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Fighter, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Fighter in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He has dedicated himself to building a better village for his children.
