History: The child of southern immigrants he idolized his mother. His mother disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his mother, he was betrayed dozens of times. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

History: Richard lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He dropped out of school to support his sick father, and resented it. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Personality: He likes to make people angry or surprised. He is fiercely devoted to his father, and views his father's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-sister.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. Hubert was born on a far eastern desert where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Shipwright. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Shipwright and was forced into it by his family; and marry his sister to traveling adventurers
