History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Description: He prefers to wear the grand gowns of high society. He carries his fan with him everywhere and carries himself as the perfect gentleman, and he perpetually has his falchion ready. He has styled his blonde hair well, parting it to the right. He has a very pronounced jaw and large eyebrows. He wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.

Personality: Deceptive and manipulative this northern guy figured out how to best use his charms to convince people to do what he wants. As he has aged he has sought to do reparations for his actions as a youth. He is also making sure that his compatriots who never received punishment for their crimes are brought to justice.

History: He was born into a rich family. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Henry fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: He is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions; and seeks redemption

His hair is short and auburn. His face is feral with sharp distinguishing features. His spectacle hidden eyes are a deep blue.

Personality: He is intelligent and cunning, but he will too often allow his rage to get the better of him. He will lose his cool and rely on brute force to carry the day. He will do just about anything if he becomes convinced it is for someone's true love, of this he is easily convinced.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious southern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. He worked as a nervous Layabout and found it very stressful. He has achieved small success as a Layabout.

Motivation: Wants his loneliness to end; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by orcs, and he desires to right it

History: When he was but 3 years old his parents immigrated from the north. Because his mother participated in the massacre of their homeland, orcs burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. He was preparing to flee to the north, but the outbreak of war prevented him and his father from journeying north to reunite his family. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: He doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes; and he is greedy

Description: This fat northern man has a bulbous nose and wears a shirt that is too small, which lets his gut show, with a ratty brown coat over it. His skin is also unnaturally pale. His head has been shaved. His face is feral with sharp distinguishing features. His spectacle hidden eyes are a deep green.

Personality: He speaks before he thinks and is too direct. He moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep his interest for a month it is impressive.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when orcs swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. His parents were killed by orcs in a raid when he was still a young child. The orcs captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to orcs demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: He wants revenge against orcs.
