History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. Roland liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. He has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

Personality: This man loves poetry and to teach people poetry more than just about anything. The war was a terrible time for him, and Dean does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: Dean was raised in a hard working conservative environment. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He has achieved small success as a Unemployed.

Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg; and further expansion of business

Personality: He is soft-spoken, optimistic and speaks nonstop, as he rather likes the sound of his voice. His demeanor is somewhat feminine. He is motivated by money and will often try and persuade people to work for cheap. He haggles over everything, upselling his goods and buying cheap. He is persistent in everything.

History: He comes from a rich western family. Since his father passed away years ago, his mother had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He now mingles about in high society.

Motivation: Retire the richest man in the west; and money/treasure

Description: An older man who wears clothing that is held on in multiple layers but all of it is in poor condition, he is not a threatening figure. His hair is greying and his face has many wrinkles. His eyes are likewise hazel.

Personality: He is happy with his job as a Stableman. He turns his eye from what people do, preferring to live and let live. He also hits on women, regardless of circumstances.

History: He was born on a small isolated farm. Being born in the east, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the east for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

Motivation: Wants a kiss.

His eyes are a pleasant hazel.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Diggory embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. He has a hair trigger and will fly into rage over the tiniest perceived slights.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. Diggory was a troubled youth. He spent his days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent his evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Diggory decided he wanted neither the life of his mother nor that of the evil petty criminals he associated with. During his early adolescence, he took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
