History: Gerard was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Fighter, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Fighter in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered painting. Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.

His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.

Personality: He is enamored with his job. He loves it. He likes the challenge and he likes helping those less fortunate than him. He is obsessed with his god.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when gnolls swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He became part of the deadliest team of assassins in recent memory. A botched job caused the group to be disbanded. He struck the Map Maker job and began his own company from there.
