Description: He dresses well, wearing black shirts, loose pants, and blazers most of the time. He is portly but not overly obese. He has red hair. His brown eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.

Personality: He is almost excessively polite to everyone, even when angry. His actions favor neither the good nor the evil, as he answers to a power that mortal men fail to acknowledge.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. In his youth he was part of a gang. He got caught, but did not rat out his comrades and served his time in prison. Being a Mercenary kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

Motivation: His religion dominates his actions.

Description: This tall, slender man wears a grey tunic with pastel highlights, and long red pants that bunch up around his shoes. His red hair is greasy and uncared for. His amber eyes dart from person to person to random spaces in the air.

Personality: Aside from being a little slow due to sleep deprivation he is generally quite perceptive. He notices little details and can draw good conclusions from them. More though he will beg to come along on any journeys. He will attempt to stowaway on any ship he can in the hopes that it will get him further away.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: To unite with his sister; and regain custody of his son

Description: He is a husky man, who wears professional attire. His hair is greying and his face has many wrinkles. He has a very pronounced jaw and large eyebrows. He wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.

Personality: He is irascible and easily irritated. He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Godfrey was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He helped his father out around the business and became quite the natural. He struck the Fisher job and began his own company from there.

Motivation: To be a Cartwright again.

Description: This southern man's face is deformed and paralyzed on one side. As such, he slurs his words together. He is well dressed, constantly wearing a brown suit, yellow shirt, and white tie. His auburn hair is cut short with large spiked bangs in the front. He has a dull look in his gray eyes.

Personality: He believes mankind has become decadent and spoiled by the march of civilization and an end should come to life as we know it. The war was a terrible time for him, and Cory does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: His necromantic talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. His father was a soldier and died while he was still young. Cory was left his father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He bought a longbow and has really upped his game hunting, due to his understanding of decoy and ambush.

Motivation: He loathes his own lifestyle.

Description: A man with a cold, calculating air about him, he is wearing a tight white one piece outfit complete with pants, hood, and a cape. He sports a long red beard, and similarly colored long hair. His blue eyes are desperate and heavily dilated. He has the appearance of someone under the heavy influence of drugs.

Personality: He hates dire rats. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. He is used to getting what he wants. In part because he is a meticulous planner.

History: He was born at the edge of vast desert. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Interpreter. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: Many dire rats want him driven away; and he'd like to take his coworkers down a peg
