History: Geoffrey lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Ostracized due to the psionic powers of his oldest sister, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Humans became a terror of the countryside. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

Motivation: He doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes; and doesn't want to be a body guard and was forced into it by his family

Personality: He seems absolutely devoid of it. He stares off into space and will respond with overly literal and minimalist answers to questions. He is underhanded and not above using his wealth and body to get others to do his bidding.

History: He got into the Sage business at a young age. A gifted student he started as a Fletcher, but he got bored and became a Sage. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 13 years.

Personality: Overbrimming with self-confidence, Adelard isn't afraid of most anything. He has a strong dislike to people who do not believe in Human unity. He is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Humans.

History: He was born in the west. A few years later when the east was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes dire rats are coming to abduct people. He lacks moral complications. He does what he is told to by employers but not much else. He spends his money on whatever he fancies at the time.

History: His mother raised him in a mountain cabin. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the south were limited. He's also a talented Brewer, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered painting. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: Regain custody of his son; and to reunite with his absent mother
