History: Simon lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. By chance he met his sister recently and the two have been together since.

His psionic abilities were realized during a raid on his village. He was granted psionic powers by his dying brother.

Personality: Miles is depressed about a lot of things. He tends to be a nihilist. His actions favor neither the good nor the evil, as he answers to a power that mortal men fail to acknowledge.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Motivation: He has passion for adventuring and risk; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions
