History: Gilbert was born in the north. At a young age he loved to build and create. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He now spends his time doing works of charity.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions

Personality: He is filled with cunning. He likes to feign weakness letting people think he is weak. He claims to be unscrupulous but at the end of the day he will do what he thinks is right.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. In his 11th year, his parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Miles alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by dire rats. Miles was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the dire rats.
