History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his mother and father. His mother taught him the rudiments of the Engraver arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. In his 18th year, his parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Roger alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has achieved small success as a Engraver.

History: Hubert was raised in a hard working conservative environment. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.
