He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. After coming to the age of reason, Patrick took it upon himself to study the martial arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Performer they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Sailor, and he later adopted a second son.

Motivation: To unite with his brother; and he made a deal with a demon which lead to his current lot in life, and he's becoming increasingly nervous about it
