History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Sculptor hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

His parents enrolled him in a Fighter school at a young age so that he could practice his divine talents. Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by illithids. Gilbert was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the illithids.
