Description: He is a paragon of his species. He is larger and stronger than most Humans. His skin is light but he possesses many red ritualistic tattoos. He wears a simple burlap shirt and baggy pants. He conceals his quarterstaff with his veritable burlap sack of a shirt. He has styled his brown hair well, parting it to the left. He wears a mask on his face.
Personality: He is quiet and reserved most of the time, but warms up to people very quickly. Around friends he is liable to tell dirty jokes and enjoy himself. His home and work are filled with various knick knacks he has acquired through the years. He cares a great deal for his adopted teenage daughter.
History: Born the oldest of a large religious western family, he was no stranger to responsibility. Being born in the west, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.
Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud; and his religion dominates his actions

Description: The dark-skinned man stands 5'0" and wears a faded coat and loose pants complete with feathered hat. His golden hair is kept up in a ponytail inside a feathered hat. This violet eyed westerner is not easily forgotten.
Personality: Overbrimming with self-confidence, Anselm isn't afraid of most anything. He has a strong dislike to people who do not believe in Human unity. He is susceptible to being scared and is in actuality easily frightened. He likes to tell stories.
History: Gifted from a young age, Anselm studied abroad. In his 16th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.
Motivation: To reunite with his old friends; and he's looking for his big break

Description: He prefers to wear the grand gowns of high society. He carries his fan with him everywhere and carries himself as the perfect gentleman. He is bristling with hidden weapons, mostly scythes and crossbows. His chestnut hair is cut short with large spiked bangs in the front. His gray eyes are desperate and heavily dilated. He has the appearance of someone under the heavy influence of drugs.
Personality: He is not truly malevolent, but he is obsessed with writing. He constantly tries to fill his life with writing. He is lazy, self-centered, vain, and jealous.
History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his mother and father. His mother taught him the rudiments of the Apothecary arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. He became part of the deadliest team of assassins in recent memory. A botched job caused the group to be disbanded. Being a Apothecary kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.
Motivation: He possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal; and he has decided he is irredeemable

Personality: He is someone who is used to having a large amount of sex appeal. He also lacks a concept of privacy and shares just about everything. He always tries to repair and not replace. It was this mentality that drove him into the Layabout business.
History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. His first spouse was a Engraver, they had one daughter, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

Personality: He is a sleazy, sleazy guy. He has no qualms about using his powers of suggestion to get people to do what he wants. He is a ruthless business man, a trait he acquired from his mother.
History: Born in the east to a Mason, Anselm learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. He worked as a nervous Mason and found it very stressful. He tends to his Mason job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.
Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg; and he has money and likes to spend it
