Through the years after Nicholas was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Nicholas's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.
