Description: A pudgy man standing about 5'11" has a big stupid grin on his face most of the time. He tends to wear a large black jacket. His brown hair is still thick. His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.
Personality: He is quiet and unassuming. He ignores others and carries on with his job unassumingly. He claims to be unscrupulous but at the end of the day he will do what he thinks is right.
History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. He worked as a nervous Bricklayer and found it very stressful. Some 9 years later his spouse died after the birth of his daughter. Heartbroken, Patrick never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his daughter whom he trained as his mother had trained him before.
Motivation: He loathes his own lifestyle; and balancing his hectic life and new bricklayer responsibilities is difficult

Description: He wears grey robes with leather pauldrons. Though occasionally he wears more armor. He prefers to carry a longbow, but if one is not available he will default to his axe. He is bristling with hidden weapons, mostly axes and longbows. His small hat is riddled with cuts and holes. He has brown eyes.
Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He cannot resist a sob story and will often dote over anyone who has one.
History: He was born to a criminal king-pin and mafia family William was a troubled youth. He spent his days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent his evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. William decided he wanted neither the life of his mother nor that of the evil petty criminals he associated with. During his early adolescence, he took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. He now spends his time doing works of charity.
Motivation: A rival would like him out of the picture.

Personality: He speaks before he thinks and is too direct. He is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.
History: He got into the Bookbinder business at a young age. A gifted student he started as a Glassblower, but he got bored and became a Bookbinder. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to drow demanding more tribute than usual.
Motivation: Regain custody of his son; and he wants revenge against drow

Personality: Cocky and sure of himself, he believes he is the best Navigator born in the past three hundred years. He has a cruel streak; something he gained from his previous mentor. He harbors resentment against his former mentor.
History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. He helped his mother out around the business and became quite the natural. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Navigator.
Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army

Description: This man is moderately tanned and has just the faintest trace of an accent. He wears a robe, a symbol of strength around his neck, and a scythe on his belt. With bright brown hair and a scraggly beard. He has a tattooed face.
Personality: He is a sleazy, sleazy guy. He has no qualms about using his powers of suggestion to get people to do what he wants. His actions favor neither the good nor the evil, as he answers to a power that mortal men fail to acknowledge.
History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. Recently a tribe of gnolls attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Jocelyn fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs.
