History: He was born in the north, but his parents moved at a very young age to the east. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the north were limited. He left for the north, certain he would find work there.

Description: He appears as an extremely gaunt Human, and stands approximately 5'7". He is dressed in earthy colors with a white and red handkerchief worn on his left side, and his gloved hand is found clutching a scythe. He keeps his long blonde hair kept up in a rat tail. His violet eyes have a joyful gleam in them most of the time.

Personality: He cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with his opinion, he thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, he can get violently argumentative. He has a taste for the finer things and spends a great deal of money on luxuries, some more exotic than others.

History: Manfred was raised in a hard working conservative environment. In his youth he was part of a gang. He got caught, but did not rat out his comrades and served his time in prison. He has worked as a Stableman like his father before him.

Motivation: He is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by orcs, and he desires to right it

Personality: Abrasive and pushy, he has a hard time making friends. He is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in his opinion.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

Motivation: He is wracked by social anxiety; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark

Description: He tends to wear a heavy leather apron. Coupled with his rolled up shirt sleeves this gives him a very relaxed look. His brown hair is still thick. He was beautiful and young once, which still shows through his age, but it is a faded beauty.

Personality: He is a very philanthropic person; he spends his free time working at various soup kitchens. As long as the job gets done he does not care how it got done.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. He found a children's book about a Human Fighter who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

Motivation: He is wracked by social anxiety; and he desires power and/or immortality

Personality: He is extraordinarily passive and rarely speaks, let alone speaks his mind. He believes the world needs to unite to get rid of dire rats once and for all.

History: Gerald hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. Since his father passed away years ago, his mother had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Revenge; and many dire rats want him driven away
